Apologies to all as it took me forever to get to this write up -but here it is!
The forecast called for pouring rain. But Sarah and Mihal were willing to take a chance, so we packed up our rain gear and off we went. What a treat! Not one drop of rain the entire time we were out, and Long Sault was a great change of pace from the usual Bruce Trail terrain. It is located on the Oak Ridges Moraine and the trail are well marked and easy to access. This is an excellent park for cross country skiing and biking, and you don't have to pay trail fees. The trails look well maintained and are rated by difficulty. We'll definately be revisiting this area for more activities.
