Tue, Apr 10 2007 - Indoor Rock Climbing: With Lesssons (View Original Event Details)
|
I love watching people cimb, who have never climbed before. People get so much satisfaction out of doing things that are challenging and scary, and climbing can be both.
Kudos to Elodie: She was jet lagged and almost didn't make it, but she did. She showed so much potential she put some of us veterans to shame, and she liked it so much she decided to upgrade her package to be able to return. We hope to see her at our next climbs.
Matt & Jenn partnered off right of the bat, and were barely seen on the ground. Tony & Chris, who were both 1st time climbers also did very well. Ernest, who is one of the regular climbers, was a bit rusty after having way too much fun in Vietnam. However, he warmed up with a 5.9 right off the bat (and if you know what that means, you know it's a controversial move) but the man pulled it off.
We all had fun as usual, come and join the next climb.
