Sat, Sep 28 2013 - Short hike to Small World Music Festival - Dundas Square - 5k (View Original Event Details)
|
Another beautiful fall day, 20C and sunny. There were five people on today's hike.
Today's hike was shorter, 5k, so we spent more time at The Riverdale Farm and Allan Gardens. At the farm, both birds and animals were very active. The pigletts have grown quite a bit. The ducks were particularly active, more so than usual. Allan Garden's is always a treat. In the south greenhouse by the waterwheel there are live turtles now.
The Small World Music Festival at Dundas Square was excellent. The festival is a week long. Today's event was free as it was promoted as one of the Culture Days events.
$6.00 was collected in voluntary donations.
