Write Up:
The temperature this evening was a comfortable 20C. It rained very lightly for the first third of the hike and then pretty steadily for the remainder of the hike. The Don River was flowing swiftly and there was a considerable volume of water. Last year was hotter with less rain and the river water volume was very low. We kept a steady pace and finished in just under two hours, for a 5.4 kph pace. It's been three weeks since my last hike along the Taylor Creek Park Trail & Lower Don River Trail, when we'd just had the heavy rain & flooding in Toronto. The city has done an excellent job of getting all the downed trees and branches cleared up. $4 was collected in donations.
