Mon, Apr 1 2013 - Easter Monday Exploration of Liberty Village (14 KM) (View Original Event Details)
|
With a mostly sunny, but windy day upon us we trekked out to Liberty Village for this special edition Easter Monday urban hike. The highlights of the hike included a stopover at The Roastery Coffee House (sadly closed on weekends) where we enjoyed hot drinks & snacks in front of a warm fire, and exploring The Toronto Carpet Factory grounds. We ventured inside the main building and took a look at the historical memorabilia and office spaces. We returned back to the city, passing through Trinity Bellwood Park and then going our seperate ways back in the city.
