I really do like this place - if you haven't been yet, you are missing a treat. This weekend we were joined by Andrew, one of those "way back" people that has been living the last 10 yrs or more in the mecca of mountain activities called 'Whistler".
He was very impressed with the facilities, and that's considering that half the place was closed for an Ontario Cup racing series. There were some serious mountain biking people there! But there were still enough trails open to get in a good challenging run . I didn't see Alan and Andrew's ride as they are much too advanced for me, but I heard that Alan was pushed to do some new techniques and had the wipe outs to prove it.
I suffered a few wipeouts myself, but now my new shoes are dirty , so I guess that's the way you wear them in. It wasn't the best outing for me, so I'm going to work on some technical work. Well, you have good days and you have not so good days.
more trips to come in the future, so keep your eyes on the calendar.
