We reviewed Don Starkell's "Paddle To The Amazon". It was a lively conversation, with the majority of us agreeing that the authors' excessive tenacity despite some formidable odds helped him reach his goal of canoeing some 12 thousand miles from Winnipeg to the mouth of the Amazon River. Jenn M. revealed her next book choice, also a canoeing adventure: "Lost Lands, Forgotten Stories" by Alexandra Pratt.
