Fri, Aug 19 2005 - Alphabet Challenge: C'est What (View Original Event Details)
|
By the time we got to C'est What the after work crowd had eased off, so there was plenty of room and quick service. I started with an apple based beer, which was delicious but not like a cider - more like a fruity ale. I moved on to the Hemp Ale after that. I tried something else, but it wasn't memorable, but definately try the apple beer.
Oh yeah, food - the menu hasn't changed much over the years - we shared some Yam Frites for an appetizer and I do recommend them if you go here. The fries are good too. The evening was wonderful with great music that was original, but typically C'est What (iow - grass roots and folksy) and didn't overpower our lively conversation. Alana is not a beer drinker but gladly tasted the wines by the glass they had offered. Next month the challenge goes to 'D', and it's going to be an Indian feast...mmmmmm!
