Sat, Jul 16 2011 - Seaton Hiking Trail - Trail Building (View Original Event Details)

We drove up to the trail head to meet up with the Friends of Seaton Trail to do some volunteer work on the trail. It was a very hot day. We move some debris around to better outline a new section of the trail and close off the old eroded route. We planted some cedar poles and new trail markers at the major intersections. We trimed some branches and pruned back some branches around existing trail markers. We managed to go through all our water as we finished off all the tasks planned.
The Bruce Trail Club - Toronto chapter hike throught our new section and was appricate of all our hard work.
