Nice People, Cute Dog and a great workout
First of all, I would like to express my thanks to Jose – our TOC new member. Welcome on Board! I hope you had a wonderful trip with us!
Work out is always needed especially for those office people. Being close to the nature and without going away too far away from the city will be best choice. Armed with this purpose, we four people – Min, Jose, Erik and I gather together and start our journey – intense walk in the woods.
On this Saturday, we started at Lawrence and Avenue road, passing by a private school, and luxury condominiums – by the way, this area is an expensive area and two bed rooms are 400,000 dollars. If I am a millionaire, I am NOT going to buy it…. Since I am the event lead, of course I have to show off how fast walker I am, and thank you guys for giving me a chance to show off!
First we came in the woods – it’s so quiet, and squirrels quickly hided into the woods when they saw us! Maybe those guys never see people before. The trees are so tall and the leaves cover the sky. There is no main paved road and only one narrow and muddy small trail leading us ahead. Indeed, this is how we called Close Nature – isn’t it?
This wood is not very big, and 4 of us quickly passed the woods – it’s a small piece of cake for us! Then we came to the park – it’s a nice park as we saw the wedding people coming here for pictures, and Erik was encouraged by us to be one of the best men in their wedding pictures – free of charge. But Erik is too shy to go……Then we continued our journey and passed an open area for kids, and Jose explained to us that those were sprinklers and kids will enjoy the fountain in the summer – He is right, as I saw it in summer! Geese, how can he figure this out!
After the park, we are in the woods again. This is area designed not only for human but also for the dogs as this is unleashed area! So the doggies are running around all over the palace as they want to have a work out too. On the way on our journey, a most hard working dog( His name is He-Man) attracted our eyes. He is working in the middle of the river and trying to take all the rocks out of river!! He-man is working so intensely and even didn’t notice us watching him. He is talking to himself and if I understand properly he was saying :“come on, rocks, you got to get out of the river. My master is watching me and I got to make him proud of me!”. We watched with great interest, finally, Erik spoke out loud for He-Man “He should get paid, as he is working so hard” . Oh, yeah, he is - I think…3 hours intense journey was making everybody sweating, and the muddy and mushy road made it more challenging as sometimes, we are literally walking on the edge. However, the fresh air and a nice talk with each other made the trip rewarding.
Thank you guys again join my trip and I hope to see you again!
