Carine, Tim and I had a great bike ride in Toronto on Saturday. We met up at Royal York Subway Station, where a light flurry of snow teased us with thoughts of skiing. But the snow did not stick around and we were prepared, in any event, for a ride in the cool fall weather. We headed north on Royal York, cut west at Edenbridge, connected to the Humber River trail, and headed south to the Waterfront Trail, where we continued in a westerly direction until stopping for lunch at Shoeless Joe's. We parted company in downtown Toronto after a leisurely lunch. Tim and Carine headed to MEC to spend some money, and I returned to South Etobicoke. There was quite a lot of sunshine to enjoy for most of the ride, and it was a great day to be outdoors!
