Write Up:
All the sign-ups, one new member originally from as far as Italy, showed up on time at Port Union Go Station. With the gentle breeze and under the blue sky, the group headed west along the waterfront and hiked for about 8 kilometers. We were impressed by the awesome shoreline sceneries at the east end. The peacefulness with a bit of wilderness, the sight of New Clear Power Plant in Pickering, elegant swan swimming in the lake, as well as the beautiful weather made this urban hike perfect and unforgettable.
