Write Up:
We had 20 members on the event. No sign of Mantracker! It was my first time at Wildwood Manor Ranch. Wildwood Manor caters to riders of all ability levels, so even if you have never ridden a horse before, they will give you the right horse and enough instructions so that you can have a safe and fun ride. For some of us who had riden before we enjoy one of the more "spirited" horses, and where able to run them in the field. I really liked that part.

For my 12 year old daughter, Jane, it was her first time on a horse and she quickly figured out the commands and was running her horse within 30 minutes.

After the 1 hour long trail ride we had lunch in the picnic area. Some of us brown bagged it and some bought the $8 hot ranch lunch special. It looked really good.

After lunch most of us headed down the road to the trail head at Silver Creek and hiked the Roberts and Irwin Quarry Side Trails. We spent a little over an hour on the trail. It was a good way to reflect on our horseback riding experience. I would recommend Wildwood Manor Ranch, since Jane is already asking when we can do this event again. See you all soon Gary
