Write Up:
Four of us had an excellent ride on the much-improved Caledon Trailway. While we encountered some showers during the ride, we were prepared with rain-gear. I even tried my little "booties" on for the first time, and they did a great job of keeping my running shoes and feet dry. We all enjoyed some very good ice-cream in Terra Cotta at the half-way point, after stopping for sandwiches at the General Store in Inglewood. On the way back to Palgrave, Melissa and I, being at the front of the pack, saw three deer cross the trail about 25-feet in front of us. They were so beautiful and graceful. Thanks to Melissa's parents for allowing us to park our vehicles in their driveway prior to heading out onto the trail.
