The Bandshell Park was abuzz with excitement. We were greeted with colorful stalls, bollywood music, and the aroma of South Asian delicacies. We started with the basics---food. Bubbling with energy, we hopped on to Shiamak Dabar's Indo-Jazz workshop where some 30 odd people were swaying to a popular bollywood number. Tara lost no time and was soon in the thick of things. She was given able support by Welah. There were a number of colorful performances by folk singers and dancers, which we very much enjoyed. Other interesting aspects were the laughter-yoga workshop, Meena Bazaar, and a collection of photographs about South Asian culture abroad.
