Sat, Apr 24 2010 - Wild Hike in the City! (View Original Event Details)

On Saturday April 24, sixteen of us, headed out to the Rouge River Valley for a nice hike with an even nicer group of people. All together we hiked about 16km in about 4 hours including a nice lunch break along the river and beautiful views of the river valley.
We were all surprised to see the early blooming of trilliums and ferns and many other flowers.
It was ideal hiking conditions, not hot or cold and just the right mixture of sun and cloud and in spite of a forecast which called for rain we were lucky to have a dry hike.
