It was a fun filled evening of Salsa dancing. We were corralled up onto the dance floor for some salsa instruction by a very patient and wisecracking instructor. Thankfully he continued giving us pointers once the band began to play. They too were very supportive of our salsa dancing attempts though not all of us were as rhythmically challenged as me! Jean and Shannon were a sight to behold on the dance floor. Jean even went so far as to teach Esteban the Cha Cha! He was tres impressed. Lucy proved to be a fun and enthusiastic partner though it’s possible that the signature drink, ‘The Esteban’ might have given her that extra spring in her step. Christine, Helen and Lisa also strutted their moves in the true spirit of the ‘Salsa’, meaning, a spicy flavour!
