5 of us ventured on a trip to Niagara Falls. We parked at Dufferin Islands Conservation Area (south of the Falls, free parking!) and started walking north along the Parkway. There was a marathon event running along the Niagara Parkway as well and it was fun to watch. Niagara Falls was spectacular on this beautiful sunny day. We proceeded to the Rainbow bridge. Very nice view from the bridge and crossing the border was a piece of cake. After a short lunch break we went on to the Goat island and explored the American side of the Falls. After visiting spectacular and not so widely known Three Sisters Islands we headed back, visiting a greenhouse on the way. Traffic was ugly on the Oakville stretch of QEW, but aside from that there were no delays and we came back to Kipling at about 6pm.
