Sat, Aug 1 2009 - Waterfront Trail from Ajax to Oshawa and Back (52 km) (View Original Event Details)

It is such a gorgeous day for this event, sunny, breezy and pleasant. We started in Ajax, passing through parks and waterfront trails and enjoying the lake and the scenery. The only mishape is Jame's tire went flat, and we had to make a detour to Oshawa Go station to send him to the train.
We reached our one end destination, Oshawa waterfront park around around 2 pm. We streched outselves and had our well deserved lunch in the shade. Duarte and Dan dipped themselves in the water while Christie lay down to have a sun bath.
The way back to Ajax was smooth. We even cycled past a patch of forest with the pond at the bottom, all three of us considering the scene impresses us like the west coast.
To put it simple, we enjoyed the cycle to our heart content.
