Write Up:
When I contacted the Moyers family for cherry picking, I assumed that it is a small farm with maybe a dozen cherry trees and a shaded area under the trees for picnic. Well, that is what we take for family orchards. I didn¡¯t give their statement like ¡°since in business in 1799¡± and ¡°cherry farm¡± any serious thoughts.

However when we got there, the sheer size of parking lots (three of them), each as big as anyone for Canadian Tires and Loblaws, and hordes of people carrying custom made baskets, took us by surprise. The two groups departed from different carpool places, got delayed a bit by the traffic on QEW, but reached the cherry farm almost at the same time. One member, Dima, signed up for ¡°meeting at the event¡± and sure enough, he arrived with his motorbike ahead of the two groups. The picnic area was so crowded and we had to use cell phone to find the other group. After the picnic, each of us got a basket, hopped on the truck, enjoyed a short ride in the orchards, and got off to be amazed by lines and lines of cherry trees. The rest is the juicy sweet part which I¡¯ll leave it to your imagination.
