The weather threatened thunderstorms, but we decided to go for it anyways and we didn't get a drop of rain all day. The whole point of the outing was to get Rocky into a canoe and see if he liked it. At first he was a bit hesitant about getting in, but that's why dog PFD's come with a handle on the back! Alley Oop and he was in the canoe. By the time we reached Toronto Island, he was an expert, jumping in and out without help, and resting comfortably while the rest of us paddled. We made a couple stops on the island for ice cream and food, and paddled around the far side of the island, since it was an exceptionally calm day.
After we finished, we headed over to the Foggy Dew for dinner, where Rocky entertained us by singing along with the firetruck sirens.
