What a great way to celebrate the Earth day, hiking around High Park. We started by the Spring Creek trails close to the Sculptures gardens, passed the Allotment Gardens, the amphitheatre and explored Colborne Lodge. Then, we took the Waterfront trail; continue all the way west until the Marine in Humber West Park, you do not feel you are in Toronto, it remembers me of Miami (well, not taking in account the temperature). We explore Humber Parks West and East sides, and then we went back to High Park, we found the Grenadiers Pound and then follow the Wendigo trail, in the darkness and hearing a Coyote. Hopefully, we did not meet the Wendigo in this opportunity. At the end we concluded that we exercised some other muscles, since we did the trail in backwards :-)
