We arrived at Tequila Sunrise to find out that TOC member Diane C had already, strategically, arranged for group seating and separate bills. Awesome! Little things like this make event co-coordinating so much easier.
Many of us were hungry so we took advantage of the reasonably priced food and loaded up on yummy Mexican delights. Some took it one step further with Mexican beers and margaritas.
The huge flat panel TVs allowed us to watch Canada demolish the USA at the World Junior Hockey Championships. That inspired Louis to regale us with his karaoke version of 'The Hockey Song' later in the evening.
In fact, many TOCers bravely took the microphone. Rich did a killer version of 'Sway' with hip movements to boot. Virna tore through a strong solo rendition of 'Besame Mucho'. Diane C really did well on the country hit 'Sold' at only her second time ever doing karaoke. I kicked off the proceedings for the evening with 'The Devil Went To Georgia' off the Coyote Ugly soundtrack.
After much singing and merriment came the group countdown to Midnight. This was followed with hugs and then spirited dancing/partying to wind up the party in style.
