Write Up:
Nobody, including myself, quite knew what to expect for this inaugural event. However, an enthusiastic bunch of TOCers turned up eager and ready to take part. Batteries were charged and cameras were set.

Then, following a highly scientific randomization process we divided participants into teams of 4 and they were assigned their objectives. They had to take pictures with stuffed animals, fireplaces, all members in high heels, and much more.

The event was an awesome way to interact with other TOCers and explore the city while bouncing photo ideas back and forth. It also helped demonstrate the kindness of strangers as they were often enlisted to act as photo subjects, photographers, and more.

Finally it all ended with picture uploading and group viewing at Philthy McNasty's. There, through the magic of a laptop and projector, no embarrassing moment was spared. We enjoyed food, drinks, and finally prize distribution.

I'm glad that so many people turned out. The weather cooperated for the most part and it worked out wonderfully. It served as the perfect large scale bookend event for the TOC's 2008 year.
