A talented cast amused and delighted us a with a variety of skits and musical numbers this evening. My informal poll of TOC attendees revealed the hand puppet skit to be one of our favs. Club member Frank got involved too when the seat behind him became part of his 'motorcycle' for a sketch that had cast members right in with us, the audience.
This truly is one of the best values on the Toronto comedy scene. Not only do you get the show, but there is a free-form improv session once the main program finishes. Here is where we see ideas that may germinate and make there way into Second City revues in the future. Second City has served as a springboard for some of the biggest names in comedy ever (Mike Myers, Dan Akroyd, John Candy, and more).
Another shout out goes to the sweet potato fries served at the venue. Very yummy.
