Sun, Nov 9 2008 - High Park and Humber River (View Original Event Details)
|
We tried to take the starts in the north-east corner of the park, but they were closed for construction, so we took a little urban detour around Ellis Park Road, until we find the entrance in Wendigo street, and listen some tail about the Wendigo creature. We explore the trail, until the Grenadier Pond, where we took at look to the swans, and Stanlegy got some good picture shoots. After exploring the lake shore, Chuck led us to the Humber River trail entrance. We alternated between trails and streets, remembering us that we were in an Urban Hike. Finally, we arrived to our final test, the stairs to get into Old Mills Subway station.
