This was a great day for hiking and exploring the Toronto Ravines. We started in Yonge/Lawrence by exploring the Lawrence Park Ravine and take the first of many down-hills (this hike should be rated as D2). We entered the loop of Chatsworth ravine where Kathryn was able to catch us (today was a Subway delayed day). We enjoyed the beautiful views of Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, where Kim found us. In the Blythwood Ravine, we found new friends in the off-leash area; Nick played a lot with a so friendly dog that looks like Simba (we miss Simba!!!!). We arrived to the end of the trail in the Sherwood Ravine, but since we are brave outdoors members, and the weather was so good, we decided to explore the uncharted territories (no map available), but we have the guide of Nick and Fanny who had been in the area before. After a challenging down-hill and a muggy trail, we arrived to Sunnybrock Park. We took a break, and watched the horses, and they we found our way to Edwards Gardens by the Wilket Creek. We explore a wealthy neighbourhood, where some of us where planning to have a big house (after winning the Lotto). We completed the urban part of the hike by walking all the way on Lawrence East until Yonge.
