We met on the corner by the entrance and took a very roundabout tour of the upper floor's bakeries, butchers and cheese vendors before there was a great rebellion among the people. They demanded to be served food, as they had grown envious of all they had seen under glass during the tour. The meager samples that were offered by various vendors was not sufficient to quench their hunger. Erik even bought a dozen sticks of pepperoni for them to snack on, but this too was insufficient to quell the insurgents in our group. We proceeded to the lower level where you can get a wide variety of sumptuous meals, pastries, hot sandwiches and ethic fare. It was most "bodacious", and was enjoyed by all. We then crossed the street to the North side and swept through another market. While it was not as impressive as the South side, the piglets hanging in the fridges (ready for roasting) were most impressive, as were the large severed pig heads. All Erik could think of when seeing the grizzly smiles was the book "Lord of the Flies". The group took a quick stroll outside of the North side market where there was a sort of flea market of various goods, and decided to break up (as some wanted to go back to the South side and purchase some of the breathtaking items they had observed earlier. After a bit of discussion the 3 remaining members (Erik, Ben & Grant) decided to have an impromptu pub-crawl in the Yonge & Eglinton area. We hit 4 pubs in the area (having a pint at each) before deciding it was getting on and it was time to officially call it a day.
