The weather threatened to be particularly nasty as it was raining and near zero in the morning. Luckily that cleared up and the race itself was dry, though only around 2C and a little windy. The back section was especially slippery this year, and overall the run was as tough as ever. There is just no relief. The hills never seem to go away.
Despite burning my thigh muscles horribly, and a good deal of worthless trash talking, Darrell claimed the crown again. The ranking was unchanged, and only Alex posted a significant improvement, by shortening his time 2 minutes. Welcome to the club, Melissa and Wendy.
