We met up at the carpool location and made our way to the Provincial Park. The trails were marked very well with lots of maps at key points. The group covered a lot of ground between breaks for food & water. We were surprised by the changes in elevation which occurred frequently on this hike - making it much more difficult than anticipated.
After returning to the carpool many of the attendees gathered at a local pub near the carpool for food, drinks & conversation. Heated discussions between Erik & Anita on various subjects made for both shock & entertainment for the other members. It's becoming a regular feature on these hikes. :)
