Our hike was scheduled the morning on the first day of a 5 day forecasted heat wave… Everyone was pleasantly surprised that it was still cool when we started on our walk to the valley via Broadview Ave down Pottery Road. I think we lucked out for the most part. The heat and humidity stayed away until the last half of our walk. Our final stats were 1 hour 52 minutes moving time with an average speed of 5.3 km/hr. Our total distance actually was 9.88km. Slightly longer than the original mapped version of 9.34km, due in part to construction closing off one of the legs and us doing a little bit of a backtrack to get to the other path. Donations: $0
