Change of plans! We set out in Danila's car, but she noticed about 30 minutes into the drive a loss of tire pressure. We pulled over and found a huge nail sticking out from a rear tire. Back to the carpool we went, and this time, Firoz, Lucia, and myself set out anew--with the setback in start time, instead of Eugenia, we decided to go for a Hockley Loop+ hike. The rain cleared up and we enjoyed pretty good temperatures and quiet trails all day. Began around 9:45, ended around 5pm.
