Pretty much everyone had dropped out of this event, but Jo wanted to skate and was delighted to see Chetan show up as well. There was a sign warning us of "Poor ice conditions due to weather" but it really wasn't too bad once the zamboni had been around. It wasn't as busy as the DJ nights, however the Lakeside Eats cafe was closed. Chetan and Jo skated for over an hour, and too bad nobody from TOC saw us. We were doing triple jumps, quadruple spins, skating backwards, and performed an ice dancing routine that had everyone else standing around in amazement. We finished to thunderous applause. Not sure we can repeat this triumph (I suspect we can if we're the only TOCers again), so you'll just have to imagine it (think Olympic-level skating).
