Off to See (the Giant Inflatable) Santa(s)! (5.5 km) (12/19/2016)

Itinerary:

So there's a street in Toronto where many of the people purchased the same giant inflatable Santa Claus. It's a sight to see at night. So let's go on a short hike that walks right up it.

This is a loop that begins and ends at St. Clair subway station.

Please note that while we'll walking on streets we will also be on some unmaintained multi-use trails so please be prepared. Traction devices are always a good idea, and very much recommended.

Also be aware that we will be going at least three hills/stairs during this hike.

Route

  1. Head across David Balfour Park (stairs)
  2. See the Santas!
  3. Down through some side streets in Rosedale
  4. Back up through David Balfour Park

Total distance: about 5.5 km

  • Source of Light (Flashlights, Headlamps)
  • Traction of Devices (icers, etc.)
