Scarborough Eastern Bluffs Loop 17 km - 20 km (8/13/2016)

DISTANCE: 17 km to 20 km

PACE: about 5.5 km/h

DIFFICULTY - D4 - there will be a few steep difficult ascents and descents. along the beach we may encounter logs, rocks and boulders, and waves to negotiate.


Let's hike along the bottom of the Scarborough Bluffs on the beach and through some inland parks.

We'll start and end on the SE corner of Lawrence Ave E. + Beechgrove Drive, Scarborough.

We may do the route in reverse of what is shown on the map above

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

If coming by transit, allow lots of time. Last time I started an event from this location, a few people were very late, and of course we were long gone by the time they arrived.

Please verify TTC routes and schedules to ensure accuracy

BY TRANSIT: Take the 54A Bus from Lawrence East RT Station or Eglinton Station. It should take you one hour from Eglinton Station, or 30 minutes from Lawrence East Station.

Alternately, you can take the 86D Scarborough Bus from Kennedy Station. It will take you about 25 minutes from Kennedy Station. Please note that the 86D bus only comes every 30 minutes!

BY CAR: Park on a side street near the start of the hike.
