In the winter, Arrowhead maintains 29 km of classical trails and 12 km of skate trails. There are a couple of heated buildings and you can buy chocolate bars and hot beverages at the gatehouse, but you should bring a lunch. Each trail is rated for difficulty and ranges from beginner to expert. The park offers 6 km snowshoeing trails.

We will meet at the Finch Station Passenger Pick Up at 8:50am and depart at 9:00am. Please arrive at 8:50am or a bit earlier because we need to put our gears in cars.

We will ski or snowshoe in small groups based on individual's interests and preference of speed (!?). You can sign up for this trip if you just want to do snowshoeing or skiing only. You can also do both. Or bring your skate for skating! Please ski and snowshoe with someone. I will do a simple survey what kind of activities you plan to do once everyone sign up.

Ski and and snowshoe rentals are avaialble in the park. The trail pass is $8.25 and the ski rental is $23 for classic and $30.5 for skate skis. Snowshoe rental is $15 (price can be different on sites. the price data may be outdated).

We will meet at the parking lot at 5:00pm and head back to Toronto. If some people would like to have dinner after the trip, we can discuss further at the end of the event.
