So I'm trying out a new event thing.

I was chatting with someone in December about the Lambton House. For those who are unfamiliar with the historical building, it's a former hotel/tavern that was originally built in 1847.

The first Friday of every month (except February, July and August) the hotel is re- opened for a community pub night where you can enjoy drinks and refreshments in old building.

However, it is not a full pub or bar, so a large food menu will not be available.

For this event, I will be keeping the numbers small, because I will not be able to get a reservation for the group.

Otherwise, you have to be 19 or older to come on this event.

This hike will start from Old Mill Subway Station and will end at the Lambton House for a 3 km route. Lambton House is located close to the intersection of Dundas Street and Scarlett Road - Address is 4066 Old Dundas St.

For those looking for transit options leaving the pub, you can catch the 55 Warren Park Bus to Jane Station from right outside Lambton House or walk up to Dundas to catch the 30A Lambton Bus to High Park Station.

For those who will be spending money on drinks or other refreshments, please try to bring cash as I cannot guarantee that they will be excepting debit/credit
