Itinerary:
We'll start at the Ken Whillans Resource Management Area, on Hwy 10, just north of the Rail Trail Bridge, and take a reasonably easy walk south-west along the Caledon Rrail Trail past Inglewood and the Caledon Golf Club. We'll walk for maybe 4km or so and then return to our start point. Hopefully, we'll hear - and maybe see - some of the winter residents, such as Blue Jays, Chickadees, and Woodpeckers, that live in the woods at the base of the Niagara Escarpment in this area.

We will meet at the Brampton Soccer Centre and then carpool to the start of the event.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for winter walking conditions.

If there is enough interest, we'll stop off for refreshments after the hike.

    Notes:
  1. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed and under control at all times. If you are bringing a dog, you'll need to sign up as a driver as we don't ask carpool drivers to accept dogs in their cars. We'll assign you passengers if other members are comfortable riding in a car with a dog they don't know.
  2. Non-Bramptonions: all members are welcome on this event but there won't be a carpool from Toronto - members will have to make their own way out to Brampton's carpool location.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Comfortable winter walking shoes / boots
  • Comfortable winter walking clothes
  • Water and snacks if necessary
  • $$ for share of carpool costs, for voluntary donation and for any refreshments after the event
