St Clair + Ravines + BeltLine = Eglinton West 11Km (5/27/2014)

Itinerary:

Everyone seems to run this hike starting at Eglinton West station and go east along the
Belt Line, so I will start at St. Clair station ending with a west trek along the Belt Line
and end at Eglinton West station.

We will start at St. Clair station (Pleasant Blvd entrance)
S in David A Balfour Park
along Moore Park Ravine
thru Mt Pleasant Cemetery
going west on the Kay Gardner Beltline Trail
ending at Eglinton West Station

There is no major difficulty in the terrain, just one hill at the start, which we will be going down!

The trails are primarily dirt or gravel, possibly some muddy sections.

We have to start promptly at 6:30 PM so we can travel through and exit
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery by gate closing time at 8:00 PM since I prefer not to have to spend the night.

A flashlight or headlamp would be a good idea since we will be finishing up after twilight

Good footwear - Hiking boots or Shoes recommended
Water 1-2 L

Event Directions:

St. Clair subway station is on the Yonge subway line, 3 stops north of Bloor & Yonge.

We will meet at the Pleasant Blvd entrance.
Pleasant Blvd is the first side street south of St. Clair Ave on the east side of Yonge.
Look for me at the entrance to the station.

Look for me with an ORANGE whistle on my backpack.
