EVENT DESCRIPTION: Let's play ball! We'll be playing one game of Softball and one game of Baseball at Hendon Park, just outside Finch Subway Station. WHO:PLAYERS OF ALL ABILITIES WHO KNOW HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL ARE WELCOME WHEN:Please arrive promptly at 3pm - play will begin at just before 3:15pm. WHAT TO BRING:All players should try to bring a baseball glove if they have one. If anyone has an extra glove, please bring it. If you do not have a glove, you are still welcome to attend (as we have two teams, and you'll be able to borrow someone else's glove). Players are also encouraged to bring additional baseball bats (aluminum) and baseballs. POSTGAMEAfter the game, attendees are being invited by one of the players back to their home for refreshments. IMPORTANT NOTES:This event MAY BE CANCELLED the day before if not enough people are signed up There are two baseball diamonds in Hendon Park. If for any reason both diamonds are occupied, we will gather as a group and move to Goulding Park, which is four blocks north. | |||||||
