Itinerary:

Fun lil' night hike to start off your week.

We'll start at Broadview Subway Station. Meet at the subway entrance. We'll follow this route:

  • Depart Broadview Subway Station
  • Through Riverdale Park, the Don Valley Trail, Crothers Woods, The neighborhood of Bennington Heights, the Moore Ravine and up to Craighleigh Gardens
  • End at Castle Frank Station

Terrain is relatively flat and will be walking primarily on city of toronto trails. I have thrown in some stairs (not many) and a challenging hill (right near the end), just to keep you on your toes.

Trails could be covered in ice and snow, so hiking boots and hiking shoes are recommended. One section is along a dark single track trail, so a flashlight or headlight is always a good idea too!

Total distance traveled = 11 Km

  • Required Items to Bring:

Good footwear - hiking boots or shoes recommended

    Water 1-2 L and snacks

    Flashlight or headlight

    Weather appropriate clothing
