Itinerary:

So I had to cancel this event back in November due to injury, and since I'm back on the horse, its time to repost this event.

We will be meeting at Finch Station at the Kiss and Ride, ending at Sheppard Station. We'll follow this route.

  1. Travel west along the Hydro Cut, through G Ross Load Park, follow the West Don river and take a bunch of back trails to the Don Valley Golf Course and then find our way to Sheppard Subway Station.

There will be a couple hills because I like challenging you, (so hiking shoes or boots are a good idea) but a good potion of this hike is on flat paved bike trails (baring that they are cleaned of snow)

NOTE: It may be windy in the hydro corridor, so please ensure you dress appropriately.

Total KM = 13 KM

Required Items to Bring:
  • Good footwear - hiking shoes or boots are a good idea
  • Water 1-2 L and snacks
  • Weather appropriate clothing
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
  • Snacks
  • Poles
  • Icers, otherwise known as traction devices

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Finch Station is Located on the Yonge Subway line and is the most northern stop.

We'll meet at the Passenger Drop Off Area, which is located on the north-west side of Yonge/Hendon Ave. The drop off area is one block or one traffic light north of Finch Ave.
