Itinerary:

GLEN MAJOR + CIDERY

We will go for a morning 10k hike in the lovely rolling hills of Glen Major Forest just outside Uxbridge. Afterwards we'll visit a nearby farm to check out their cider and fruit wines - this is part of the event so please do not sign up if you want to drop out early. :) Although the hike indicates a maximum of 2 participants, I will add passengers once drivers have been confirmed.

Drivers may get priority. Due to the number of no shows and last minute drop outs on some of my previous events, I may initially limit this hike to regular D3 participants with decent attendance records. Everyone else will be added to the event the day before to minimize turnover (assuming there are sufficient drivers!) Please do not sign up until you are certain you will attend.

=>>>Icers are required for this hike. If you don't bring them you may not be able to participate for safety reasons. (Uxbridge is not Toronto, don't be fooled!)

DIFFICULTY RATING: This event is rated D3. We will be hiking together at a pace of approximated 3.5 km an hour. (FYI the coordinator is recovering from an injury so please sign up for different hike if this one is not your speed! :)

FACILITIES: There are no facilities at (other than the bushes :-)

DOGS: Well behaved dogs are welcome and must be on a leash and arrange their own carpool.

NO SHOWS: Anyone dropping out after the registration cutoff will receive an AUTOMATIC NO SHOW - no exceptions. Remember to show respect for the people on the waiting list and if you can't attend, remove yourself BEFORE the cutoff time to give others time to adjust their lives and join in. Thanks in advance!
