Coxwell Station to Beaches Jazz Festival - Live Band, Food & Beer Garden (7/24/2013)

Itinerary:

The terrain is easy. Total distance is 6k or 10k, depending on if you want to continue after food and/or refreshments. Hiking pace will be 4.0 to 5 kph.

  1. Buster’s Sea Cove – St Lawrence market seafood
  2. Gorilla Cheese – High end grilled cheese sandwiches
  3. Gourmet Gringos – Mexican street food
  4. Fidel’s Gastro’s – Cuban food
  5. Bacon Nation – Bacon centric
  6. L’il Alfie The Lemonade Truck – Prepared the old fashioned way
  7. Hand Daddy’s Barbecue – Mobile smokehouse
  8. Beach Boys – Homegrown Canadian Beef Burgers
  9. Corrado’s Authentic Italian Food – Arangini Rice Balls, Chicken Parmagiana sandwiches
  10. Beaver Tails – Pastries
  11. Concessions Canada – Belgian waffle on a stick + toppings
  12. Hula Girl Espresso – Espresso, juices, shakes, desserts & cake in a cup

    Start from Coxwell Station and follow this route

    1. South on Coxwell
    2. East to Williamson Park Ravine
    3. South to Gerrard
    4. South through Fairmount Park
    5. East to Woodbine to explore St John’s Norway Cemetery
    6. West along Eastwood to Gainsborough Rd
    7. South through Maughan Crescent Parkette & Orchard Park to Queen
    8. South to Woodbine Park
    9. Jazz Festival - Live Band - Food & Refreshments
    10. 5 mins from there to bus back to Woodbine Station
    11. For those who want to continue, we will explore Ashbridge’s Bay Beach area, an extra 4 kms
    12. Finish - Beach Bus back to Woodbine Station

    DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH.

Event Directions:

Coxwell Station is located on Strathmore, just north of Danforth (at Coxwell). Strathmore runs east off of Coxwell. We'll meet outside the station.
