Let's spend Sunday morning hiking the trails in the Charles Sauriol Conservation Reserve area.This beautiful trail- right in my backyard- is a new discovery for me. The Charles Sauriol Conservation Reserve lies between the Forks of the Don and Lawrence Avenue East. It includes the Elevated Wetlands, an experimental water purification project at the Forks of the Don.

We will meet at Tim Hortons for coffee and depart at 11:15pm to the conservation reserve. We will be hiking from Eglinton to Lawrence along the Don River, before returning to the Tim Hortons we started at. Ontario Trails Google Map

BY CAR: The Tim Hortons is located at the southeast corner of Eglinton Avenue East and Bermondsey/Sloane, which is between Victoria Park Avenue and Don Mills Road. BY BUS (FROM EGLINTON STATION): Take the 34 Eglinton East Bus from Eglinton Station. Get Off at Bermondsey. BY BUS (FROM KENNEDY STATION): Take the 34 Eglinton East Bus from Kennedy Station going westbound. Get off at Sloane Avenue. BY BUS (FROM WOODBINE STATION): Take the 91 or 91C Bus from Woodbine Station. Get off at Eglinton Avenue. DO NOT GET THE 91A.
