Itinerary:

PHOTO HIKE - TODMORDEN + THE BRICKWORKS

This is a PHOTO WALK so we will be extremely slow with LOTS OF STOPS - do not sign up if you are expecting any kind of a workout. It's open to people with a proper camera, either point + shoot or DSLR. I'm excluding cell phone cameras so please respect this :)

We will explore these two sites

TODMORDEN MILLS HERITAGE SITE: There are two historic millers' homes dating from the early 19th century, the Brewery building and the recently renovated Papermill Theatre and Gallery. Adjoining the site is a 9.2 hectare wildflower preserve with walking trails exploring a number of natural habitats, including upland and bottomland forests, dry and wet meadows, swamp lands and a pond. Here are some photos from Flickr

BRICKWORKS/EVERGREEN: Saturday at the Brickworks is pretty fantastic! There's a farmers market, a climbing wall and lots of other activities! Here are some cool photos from Flickr

We'll be starting at 9am and will spend about an hour or so exploring each location. At 11:45am we'll meet to walk back to Castlefield TTC. Anyone who wants to stick around can also catch a bus that goes to Davisville, or a shuttle that runs to Broadview. It's about 1-2km to Castlefrank TTC.

Total distance will be approximately 4 km. There are a couple of hills, and the trail can get muddy at times. The hike may be cancelled if there's rain.

NO SHOWS: Please do not mess the waiting list around by signing up until you know you are able to attend. Anyone cancelling after the Registration Cut Off will receive an automatic no show
