Itinerary:

This hike is for experienced hikers who like to step the pace up a bit. The hike is beautiful, not too technically challenging, but I will try to keep it moving at an energetic pace.

We will hike at a pace of 4.5-5.5 km per hour. We'll be taking a combination of the Bruce Trail, the Bennett Heritage Trail, the Great Esker Side Trail, the Irwin Quarry Side Trail and the Roberts Side Trail for a total 19 KM.

Please bring a lunch and at least 1-2 Litres of water. We will find a place to stop for lunch but there will not be any drop offs.

Total Distance 19 km

Note: If you come on a winter hike, you should always have a pair of icers in your pack. You won't have to use them very often, but when it is icy on the trail, you'll need them. The icer is held to your boot with a set of Velcro straps, and keeps you from slipping and sliding. You can purchase good quality icers at MEC.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE WRITE IN THE NOTES SECTION, THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR!

If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike.
