Itinerary:

Head out in mid-November to Frontenac Provincial Park! We'll be doing the Little Salmon Lake Loop, with views of the Moulton Gorge, approximately 19k over 2 days.

This trip is great for people who have backpacked before, but want to experience colder weather before winter backpacking, or experienced hikers with access to appropriate gear who want to try backpacking. While this trip is moderate from a mileage perspective, participants must demonstrate hiking experience and ability to carry a loaded backpack.

There will be a mandatory pre-meeting in early November - if you sign up, be prepared to come to the pre-meeting.

Note the early start - we'll be leaving Saturday morning, and Frontenac is approximately a 3.5 hr drive away. This will give us plenty of time for hiking, and we'll aim to be back for a good time Sunday evening. The subway starts running at 6 AM on Saturdays. If you are coming to the carpool by TTC, please go to ttc.ca to plan accordingly.

Please note that Jenn M may bring one or both of her dogs. If you want to bring your dog, you must be driving and you must speak to Jenn M first. Frontenac Park has a strict leash policy which must be adhered to.
