I've been meaning to come to the Pedestrian Sunday event at Kensington Market for couple of years
now... So finally....Let's do it!. It promises to be a fun day with
street musicians and performers.
To participate on this event, you are required to: We will start at our meeting point, at central location downtown TO (likely, at or near TTC subway). The exact location will be Emailed to the participants on Friday before the event - so be prepared to check your Email. This is not to be secretive (ok, may be just a bit), but mainly, it's just at this moment I have not decided where that place would be. If you have suggestions.. Email me..:) I will intentionally keep our group small. Hopefully that would make it easier for us to move around more or less, as a group on the crowded streets, etc. Should there is a long waiting list for the event, and another event olunteer attends, we may choose to split up the group to allow more people to attend. :) Note, I plan to stop somewhere for coffee/quick lunch around the noon hour. There will also be other stops for breaks and refreshments. We will comfortably stroll, stop, look, sit, photograph, enjoy the atmosphere, sights and sounds. I'm not sure what the total moving distance might be. We will aim to finish by 3 PM. Since casual, slow walking is hard to do, drop-outs will be allowed. See.. I have a heart... But if you think that we'll be continuously on the move at a good pace, working up a thirst to drink the 2L of water that you plan to carry in your camel pack... well... this is not an event for you. This is not to say that you should not bring the all the water that you think you wll require. NOTE: Serious commitment sign-ups only, please. I will be generous with 'no shows' for any cancellations within 28 hrs of the event. Yes, that's 28 hrs. Don't even bother telling me your excuse. Plain and simple. You've been warned. | |||||||
