Itinerary:

So this is a brand new trail that I'm trying. We'll start near Leslie Subway Station and end at Kennedy Subway Station.

We will complete this route.

  1. Start from the S.W. Corner of Leslie & Sheppard
  2. South along the Betty Sutherland Trail
  3. Further south through Donalda Golf Course
  4. Bushwack about 200 m to Charles Sauriol Conservation Area
  5. South through Charles Sauriol Conservation Area
  6. East through Gatineau Hydro Corridor
  7. End at Kennedy Subway Station

We will do a fast pace of 4.5-5.5 km/h.

Note: The majority of this hike will involve walking through parkland, and will include a small 200m section of BUSHWHACKING

There will be several of hills on this hike.I'M EXPECTING THERE TO BE SNOW ON THE GROUND, SO PLEASE COME WEATHER PREPARED

If you do not wear hiking boot or hiking shoes on this event, you may be asked to leave on grounds of safety

Good footwear - Hiking Boot / Hiking Shoes

Water 1-2 L and snacks

Flashlight or headlight

We'll be meeting at the South-West corner of Sheppard Leslie, which is just outside Leslie Subway Station. Leslie station is located on the Sheppard Subway Line.
